Why Christian Education?

A

Your choice for your child’s education is one the most critical and decisions that you may encounter. Christian schools offer excellent academic learning environments that prepare children to be leaders in their communities and servants to their fellow man. You will see that at every level of the organization, our desire is to love your child and assist you in the task of developing a child that desires to live an abundant life for Christ, and claim eternal life through Him.

What grade levels are offered?

The Academy, a Lebanon Christian Preschool, serves students from 2 ½ through 5 years old. The Academy offers both traditional school year and year round options for half and full days. Lebanon Christian School offers grades Kindergarten (both half and full day) thru 12th grade.

Do you offer foreign languages?

A

Students receive Spanish instruction weekly. The emphasis is on conversational Spanish. Our objective is to teach students the basic Spanish vocabulary used at home, school or throughout the community.

My child is sick. Should I send them to school?

A

The following students must stay home from school: those with active vomiting or diarrhea, fevers over 100 degrees, undiagnosed rashes, serious untreated injuries, contagious illnesses, or who are obviously unwell.

Children with suspected strep throat or impetigo must see a doctor for diagnosis and, if positive, may not return to school until they have been on antibiotics for at least 24 hours AND are fever/symptom free without taking Motrin or Tylenol to mask the fever. Those with symptoms of bacterial or viral “pink eye” (conjunctivitis) must stay home until the eye is no longer red or he/she has been cleared for school attendance by a doctor. 

Students sent home with a fever may not return to school until they have been fever free (unmedicated) for 24 hours.
