How To Give

Lebanon Christian School’s main source of income is tuition. However, tuition alone does not cover the cost to educate a child. Gifts from our constituency and school fundraisers help us fill the gap. Without these gifts, a Christ-centered education would not be an option for children in the area. Remember that a gift to LCS is an investment – an investment in the lives of the children, the future of our communities, and the future of our country.

Please consider the following options as you consider a gift for Lebanon Christian School:

Matching Gifts: Your employer may be one of the more than 1,000 companies that have matching gift programs. Contact your human resources department to determine if your employer will match your gift. If they match, they will supply a form for you to complete to secure the match.

Pledges: Consider giving an amount in installments, or on a regularly scheduled payment program. You may be able to give more in this manner than by contributing a single cash gift. Our treasurer would be pleased to set this up for you. Contact the office to set up an account.

Gifts of Stock: Contact your tax advisor regarding the tremendous tax advantages of giving a gift of stock. Giving a gift to LCS could eliminate the capital gains taxes you would normally pay when cashing in your stock.

Gifts of Property: Bequest a gift to LCS through your will or trust.

Fundraiser

Listed below are some of the fundraisers that our school participates in throughout the year. Raising money through these programs requires little effort, and yet the funds raised can have a big impact on the educational experience children receive at LCS. Money raised pays for special programs, equipment, and supplies that directly benefit LCS children. Thank you for thinking of them as you support our fundraisers. Your are investing in their future, and the future of our communities.

Spirit Wear: Clothing & accessories with the LCS logo for sale.

Box Tops for Education: Simply clip the labels found on various food products, bring them in, and our school receives ten cents for every label. For more information log on to: www.boxtopsforeducation.com.

Tyson Food labels: Save the A+ labels found on various Tyson products. Our school receives 24¢ for every label.

Market Day: Buying high-quality food that’s delivered to the school for convenient pick-up makes money for LCS! No door-to-door selling! We need volunteers for the third Saturday of every month throughout the school year. Check out the Market Day website at www.marketday.com for more information or attend a PTF meeting.

SchoolShare: SchoolShare,a division of Market Day, enables you to shop online at your favorite merchants like FTD, Gap, Land's End, and Barnes & Noble. A portion of your purchase is returned to the school. Go to www.schoolshare.com, register, and shop!

Kings Island Group Volunteers: Work a shift a Kings Island and the hourly wage you earn goes to our PTF. Each worker receives 1-4 free one-day passes to the park. Attend a PTF meeting for more information.

Papa John's Night: Order pizza for your family on Papa John's Night (the 2nd Tuesday of each month) and 20% of your order will go to the LCS PTF! Be sure to mention LCS when ordering!

Community Support

In order to offer the best educational experience possible, LCS requires the support of people who care about the future of our communities and our country . With proper training, LCS students will grow to be responsible citizens and leaders in our communities. What we give now toward the training of our children, we, and future generations, will receive later.

Please consider giving to Lebanon Christian School in any of the following ways:

Pray for the children, the staff, and the school.

Pray that families choose Christian education for their children.

Share special talent/gift/interest/hobby/profession with the children. We encourage you to share creatively with the children in the classroom, during chapel, or any other appropriate time as approved by the teacher or administration. Career Days are set up especially for this purpose. Chapel is held once per week. We continually seek out interesting presentations to share with the children. Recommend LCS to other families as opportunities arise.

Give financial gifts through general donations or planned giving.

Participate in our school fundraisers.

Provide any of the items on our wish list.
